Short Biography of Celine Carre
Position: Head of European Public Affairs for Saint-Gobain
Based in Brussels, Celine is in charge of designing and implementing advocacy activities in the fields of climate, energy and sustainability with a focus on energy efficiency and sustainable construction and supporting the local businesses in developing advocacy. Since 2017, Céline is the President of EuroACE, the European Alliance of Companies for Energy Efficiency in Buildings, where she leads the Work Group on Energy Efficiency Policy.
Prior to joining Saint-Gobain, Céline gained extensive experience in a Brussels based public affairs consultancy, where she was in charge of the environment, climate and energy department, advising corporate and trade associations. Within that experience, Céline was also trained in consensus building methodologies.
Céline graduated in 1998 from Sciences Po in Paris and complemented her studies with a Franco-German Master Degree from the Free University in Berlin (Germany), and a Master in European Studies from the Bath University (UK).
