Short Biography of Saurabh Diddi

Position: Director of Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Ministry of Power

Mr. Saurabh Diddi is working as Director with Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Ministry of Power. He has more than 16 years of experience in energy efficiency sector. Mr. Saurabh has led development of many prestigious schemes of Government of India, which includes PAT for industries, Standard & labeling of Appliances, Energy Conservation Awards and energy efficiency in building sector. He led and carried out number of energy efficiency studies addressing various facets like Demand Side Management, sectoral studies, preparation of reference manuals, cluster and unit level projects as well as capacity building initiatives.

Mr. Saurabh is leading energy efficiency agenda in building sector with focus on following programs.

• ECBC for Commercial Buildings
• ECBC for Residential Buildings
• Performance Targets for commercial buildings
• Star rating of commercial buildings
• Star rating for residential dwelling units

Mr. Saurabh is spearheading EMIS implementation in building sector in India and would be sharing BEE’s vision for EMIS implementation in India.
